Yamuna Trophy Hemant's deadly spell helps IMWA XI win by 121 runs

In the first league match of the 6th edition of Yamuna Trophy, IMWA XI (Indian Media Welfare Association) thrashed DANICS by 121 runs on CWG ground, Akshardham. Vijay Sharma, skipper IMWA XI won the toss and elected to bat first.IMWA lost its crucial wickets in quick succession, the middle order failed to sustain and completely collapsed. Then came the ninth wicket partnership of 57 off 37 between Naman Sharma and Vartik that brought the floundering media into the game and helped the score reach a respectable figure of 135/9 in stipulated 20 overs. Chasing the total, DANICS met their Waterloo with a terrible disaster and the entire team returned to the dugout in the sixth over.
Hemant with a hat-trick had 7 wickets\" haul conceding 4 runs in his quota of 4 overs. Neeraj 36,Vartik 30, Mahavir Rawat 17 and Naman 17 were the main scorers for the media eleven.
