"NORTH DISTRICT" Sharpshooter jumped parole, arrested

The district police have arrested a sharpshooter of Nasir gang. The accused Gulshan alias Ankit aka Fukre 24 years involved in plenty of cases of heinous crime including murder was caught by AATS. He was granted parole; he dodged the police and failed to report his return to JC (judicial custody).

The police from his possession have received one automatic pistol used in commission of crime with two live and one spent cartridges and a stolen motorcycle TVS Apache.

A team led by Harkesh Gaba inspector AATS under the supervision of Jai Pal Singh ACP Operations was constituted and directed by the district police chief Anto Alphonse.

Acting on a tip-off, the police team swung into action knowing that the accused would come near Burari Transport Authority, Delhi. Accordingly, a strategic trap was laid at the instance of secret information and the cops lying in wait apprehended the accused coming on a motorcycle from the Sarai Rohilla side.

"The source of the weapon recovered from the possession of the accused, has been identified and raids are being conducted. Further probe is underway." DCP North Anto spoke.

 In February, 2019, he was granted parole for 7 days to attend his father's burial, but he jumped the parole. He worked for Nasir as he said in his confession.
